The then President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, praised the company’s contribution to being the largest producer of Covid-19 vaccine syringes on the continent during his State of the Nation address today. This has propelled the country to the top of the innovation and manufacturing industry map, according to the Head of State. The President added that this move has been instrumental in the fight against the pandemic, which has claimed millions of lives.

Revital Healthcare has taken advantage of available opportunities to create employment and fill gaps, given that the global shortage of Covid-19 vaccine syringes is estimated at 2 billion. Revital Healthcare is an Export Processing Zone (EPZ) company that is meeting the worldwide demand for syringe production. It began in 2008 with a single product and has since grown to 45 products, making it Africa’s largest medical device manufacturer.
